Emma Davis lives in the beautiful, historic city of Oxford with her family and their new addition, the real Polka Doggie, Jessie........an adorable black miniature Schnauzer.
Emma is a prolific and talented artist and illustrator with a BA Hons degree in Fine Art.
Her distinctive style can be seen gracing the shelves of reputable retailers including Ikea, in the form of prints, wrapping paper, greetings cards and stationery.
Polka Doggies were conceived in 2013 after Emma was given the opportunity to exhibit her work at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Polka Doggies are one off, multimedia, deep edged canvases combining Emma’s painting skills and eye for colour, with characterful hand drawn doggies incorporating clever and witty use of texture and pattern.
Due to their success and increasing demand, Polka Doggies now has a shop with a variety of doggie breeds and a plethora of colour choices!
Emma's work can also be seen at www.advocate-art.com and www.souluk.com.
If you would like a particular colour scheme or canvas size not available in the shop, a bespoke commission or any more information about Polka Doggies, please contact Emma.
